I was taught to not discuss politics or religion (or money) with others. Sometimes, though, the words in my mind beg to speak out loud:

You who I invoke for personal healing

Might I ask you to tackle the healing of the world

Open the eyes of those who will use politics

To further their prejudice against others

Open the eyes of those who will use politics

To further their greed by not paying their share of taxes

Open the hearts of the world

To peace and tolerance
