FORCES OF NATURE

 

Throbbing through the Earth’s fault line

Pulsing across every barrier

Siren singing subjugation song

Temptation of the molten core.

 

Energy releasing, quaking earth

Plate tectonic forces

Strike-slip fault.

Two blocks moving past each other

Horizontally

Earth slabs bumping, bashing, grinding

Shoving each other around.

 

Subduction zone

At the convergent boundary

One plate slides beneath the other

Spreading

Erupting

Into the atmosphere

Seminal event

Fire and Air

Becoming one

But forever lost to view…?
