DARK PHASE

 

Dark of the Moon

Empty space hidden behind

Intricate cobwebs of clouds

A borderland of energies

I give the moon my prize ornaments

And I think of you

As rain showers

Soften the darkness

Promising the New Moon

Dawn’s sun to light tomorrow’s night…

Like a prism dividing light into many shades

Life situations must often be pared down

Into colorful components

In order to analyze

Before we synchronize

Looking for shadows

Among the dazzling promises

The danger being

Obsessing over the details

Of the sunshine’s gift
